Product information "Sho Shin First Batch BY26 Junmai - 750ml"
The very first brew from the Netherlands’ first sake brewery, Sho Shin Sake in Oosterbeek.
Handcrafted in small batches using pure water from the Veluwe and premium ingredients from Japan. A slow fermentation at low temperature creates a fruity profile of stone fruit and banana, balanced by warm notes of toasted grain and steamed rice. Expect gentle acidity, pronounced umami and a pleasant, lingering finish.
After being pressed by hand in a traditional fune press, the sake is pasteurised in the bottle at a low temperature. The bottles are then left to rest in a cool cellar.
A beautiful match with grilled fish, light meat dishes, or simply enjoyed in good company. Serve chilled or at room temperature in a fine wine glass.
